Born on the 18th of October 1984, American alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She ranks second amongst all skiers, male and female in terms of the highest scores. She is among the top and most beloved skiers of the history of skiing. Lindsey American World Cup alpine ski racer Caroline Vonn also known as Lindsey Vonn competes for the US Ski Team. She has won four times awarded the title of winner in the World Cup overall competition. She is an athlete with a lot of fame throughout American time. There are only six females who have won every one of the five World Cup alpine ski events. She has won 82 World Cup victories in total. The best skier in the world and the top American racer in the sport of skiing have announced their retirements following this year's World Championship in Sweden. Four times World Cup winner decided to quit after suffering from several illnesses. The former World Cup overall champion announced her retirement via social media. Next week, I will compete in my final races to end my career in the Downhill World Championships as well as in the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
