Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise, an American actor and writer, is popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. The Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first stage production in which she appeared during her stage debut. In 1956, she made her big break in the stage on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. She also released her first album, titled It's Time to Tina in the same year. Louise's first foray in Hollywood was as Griselda on God's Little Acre, a 1958 film. It received wide acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. In this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. She signed with CBS for the role of Ginger Grant. Louise continued to have a successful professional career that combines Broadway television with Hollywood and portraying somber in contrast to her glamour-doll image was perceived. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1 and as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made an impact as an accomplished director on numerous well-known TV shows such as Supernatural or The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965 and her family moved to Toronto when she was three where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has remained to Toronto since then.
