Coleman is a native of Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool where she was head of the school and scored straight A's in her A-levels. The British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman for both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was nominated for Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. Steven Moffat revealed at a Doctor Who Press Conference on March 21, 2012 that Coleman was to play Matt Smith as the Doctor's companion after Karen Gillan, Arthur Darvill and other actors left the show. Moffat chose her due to her ability to work alongside Smith, and that she spoke faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. She's been working on the scene for more than 30 years and is associated in numerous TV and film projects. But she's had a greater presence on television as opposed to films. Eva's TV roles on The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. This particular show brought her two nominations for a 'Daytime Emmy. Also, she got to showcase her creativity through music. Eva is an entrepreneur, as well as an actress. The third man she has married is the father of her daughter.
