Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, actress and music producer. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy show "The Goldbergs". Even though she sings, her primary passion is music. Music was always her first obsession. She began training in music professionally when she was 12. At the age of 13 She began to write her own music. The album that she first released didn't come out until 14 years after. And the rest is history. Orrantia is of Hispanic origins, but was born in USA. Although she was raised speaking solely English and never lived in Mexico she's very satisfied with her Hispanic heritage. She endeavours to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish and writing songs in the language. One such song is "Hasta Verte," a song she recorded in Spanish. Orrantia auditioned for The X Factor in 2011. Her YouTube video was chosen and she got four "yeses" (or votes), from the judges at the Seattle audition. She was originally a solo performer, but after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were placed in a group to continue the auditions. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth week of live performances.
